I am really honored by the amount of encouragement which I am getting everyday for this initiative of mine. Things are going at a slow pace and am first trying to bring out the Vision and Mission statements with clarity for Dazasya.
When I started this initiative, I had two thoughts in mind:
1. To create a platform for people to come together and work for a Cause.
2. Should be a one-stop-shop for all Entrepreneurs to bring their ideas, brainstorm and work together with due contributions to society (in various ways).
Now, what do I mean by the above two statements and how can Dazasya add value when compared to many other existing organizations supporting similar cause?
A brief History
India is steadily becoming the fastest growing economy in the world. Today, everyone realizes the potential of our nation. However, there is a lot more then just privatization and globalization to be a Super-Power nation. We will need to be more self-dependent and innovative to sustain this growth and ensure we be there not just in terms of taking back-office work but also being innovative and creative.
In my opinion, there are three key areas which we and our next generations need to work on constantly, not only to ensure India creates Knowledge Wealth, but also creates an eco-system which helps uplift the quality of living.
1. HealthCare
2. Education
3. Innovation in constant loop
HealthCare – Access to Quality and affordable HealthCare is the most important. There are many challenges to this and I hope to provide my share of contributions through Dazasya.
Education – Will need to create a resource pool of various backgrounds to teach / share their knowledge in locations outside urban areas.
Innovation in constant loop – Provide support to ideas which can contribute towards uplifting the quality of life.
Creating a Platform
United we stand, Independent we fall..
Quite a famous quote. All of us have some special interest in us which we would like to explore and work on. At times we meet like minded people and pursue our interests together and many other times, we just tend to ignore our thoughts.
Dazasya works to create a platform for individuals to come together with ideas, work collaboratively towards a common goal – This is the platform we create.
One-Stop-Shop
To the Entrepreneur, For the Entrepreneur, By the Entrepreneur.
India is one of the fastest growing economies in the world today. We are becoming an house hold name for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and not to forget, we have already established ourselves for our service minds/culture.
80% of our population lives in rural/semi-urban areas of the country which lack exposure to various “knowledge resources” which unfortunately are limited to be accessible to urban population. There are many innovative thoughts and ideas which exist in this 80% of population which are lacking the exposure. If the existing 20% are contributing to this rapid growth of economy, just imagine if the remaining 80% also starts thinking of the same? Leave alone being a developed nation, we will be a Model Country in the next few years.
Dazasya aims to bridge the gap between the fortunate who have access to “knowledge resources” and the remaining who need access.
How do we do this?
We need well-wishers and passionate people, to bring to light new projects which we can help with, as a community and help the team/person who owns the idea to run it.
Example: Suppose you meet a person who has an idea and passionate to work or is currently working and is looking for mentor ship / access to resources, Dazasya as a team will attempt to provide the same.
How is this different from existing programs?
There are many great organizations and forums which are currently accessible to the 20% population. We will need to take similar kinds of forums to people who do not have access to these kinds of resources to explore their thoughts.
Will such forums work?
No. Just by making these forums accessible does not work.
Then, what should be done?
I have few thoughts with this and it would be great if you can share your thoughts to make this initiative bigger and better:
- Create a knowledge base on HealthCare, Education and Entrepreneurship.
- Spread the word and associate with various NGO organizations to
- Organize learning sessions outside urban areas.
- HealthCare Services.
- Identify potential small scale innovations.
- Create part-time volunteering opportunities for professionals to pursue their interests.
